Butterfly Charity is led and run by a team of volunteers, helping us to ensure that 100% of your donation goes towards delivering aid.
Shahida Rashid
Shahida is Founder and Trustee of Butterfly Charity. Living in the UK she dedicates her time voluntarily to network, organise charity events and generate income for the charity. Learn more about why Shahida set up Butterfly Charity.
Abdus Shokor
Abdus Shokor is a Trustee of Butterfly Charity and lives in Bangladesh. Â Abdus works on a volunteer basis providing on-the-ground support in Bangladesh. He is an integral part of the charity, ensuring the business tools are provided directly to the women in need.
eVA
Eva lives in Bangladesh and is Butterfly Charity’s Coordinator. She also volunteers her time.  Eva provides counselling for women in rural villages and refers women who are very vulnerable or abused to Butterfly Charity. It is with Eva’s help that we can reach out to these women as abuse is not something women openly come forward with.
Mike Bosnovic
Mike provides technical support for Butterfly Charity and offers his time on a volunteer basis. He is the man behind this amazing website and runs his own website company MB-sites.com.
Niki May Blane
Niki is Butterfly Charity’s copywriter and volunteered her services after hearing of our work. She is Director of Big Bee Content, former Editor of charity sector news website civilsociety.co.uk and has been involved in the sector for many years.
